I have to dominate women

Last night
had a chat with a random Japanese boy
Sitting next to me at a bar
21-year-old uni student
He brought up a topic which I was also;
"I have a strange conflict when it comes to sex with my girlfriend"
"First of all, the problem isn't with my girlfriend. Our relationship is very good. What I'm about to say is entirely an issue within myself"
"..........In this society, all the messages men receive about sex are basically; 'You have to dominate women', 'You have to make her dirty'"
"Of course you could say it all comes from porno. But really, the whole current society, regardless of country or culture, sends men a constant signals that men are supposed to 'use' a woman for their own pleasure"
"And that creates a conflict inside me. I care deeply about my girlfriend and want to respect her as a human being at all times. But the messages I've received push me to do the opposite during sex"
"And what makes it complicating is that, part of me actually finds the idea of 'offending a woman during sex' exciting and arousing"
("And what makes it even more complicated is that, not a few women internalise such a male-dominant, unfair, violent narratives and they actually expect men to do so during sex. But obviously this is not a women's issue. They are forced to internalise it in order to survive, I think")
"I'm not sure to what extent this is so-called 'natural male lust', and to what extent it's just societal brainwashing"
"But I'm sure a lot of men actually face this same conflict at some point in their lives. Yet, many of them can't explain it well, or they repress it, ignore and stay silent"
