As time went by,
I became unsure
to what extent the desire for sex is natural
Wondering if
there was ever a moment in my life when I "organically" wanted sex
without any external noise
Desire for food..........Organic
Desire for sleep..........Organic
But desire for sex..........?
Desire for fat..........Organic
Desire for sugar..........Organic
But desire for sex..........?
Apparently
I find myself leaning toward the thought;
Desire for sex is not organic, not natural
but factory-made, manufactured............it's chocolate
We don't die without sex, but
we do without food or sleep
Besides
we don't have sex for reproduction, but
we do for communication
We want to believe — we are conditioned to believe —
sex is instinctive, but it must be "culture" rather than "nature"
That's why
sex & everything related to it (including sexual orientations) varies across history & regions
That's why
some generations have a stronger or weaker interest in sex
(DNA doesn’t change in just 10 or 100 years)
That said,
it's kind of nonsense to contemplate this subject
If we want something,
― whether the desire comes from within or outside us―
we want it, regardless
We can never be entirely free from society, era, others & ourselves
Only desire for fat & sugar is forever truth
