Ukrainian women are kind

A couple of weeks ago,
I went for a drink with a Ukrainian woman

It was warm during the daytime

But at 7pm, it was slightly chilly

Walking together

She probably noticed I looked a bit cold, and said;

"Do you want a scarf?"

And opened her small bag

Inside, a small yellow scarf there

Because of some Japanese (?) modesty,
I declined yet thanked her

........Later, I felt as if
I had been shown a similar kindness by another Ukrainian woman in the past

Still can't remember who she was, but

"Ukrainian women are kind"

this over-simplistic sentiment came back to me again
