Kyoto, a compact city

What I like about Kyoto is what I don't like about Tokyo

Size

Kyoto feels some European cities I lived/visited

A compact city

Not too big, not too small
yet everything is there

Feels a very humanly city

And the river just next to the city centre is the biggest charm

River, or coast, is the place that unconditionally accepts anyone & fully allows us to feel anything

......fun, exciting, sad, intoxicating, boring, calm, hopeful, awe, relief, sentimental, romantic, lonely
