"Living in the moment" or
"Be present" or
"Focusing on the moment" or
"Now is all we have" or...........
In recent months
these phrases sound "miserable" to my ears
I would not find them "miserable", if
we had other options, like "Living for the future". Or "for the past"
But in this current reality where
everything is so fast
everything is so instant
& everything turns liquid before it can become solid
then, "Living in a moment" is
rather default state
rather only option we can choose
and "Living for the future" became nearly impossible or pure luxury
(............yet, "Living for the past" is still specially reserved for the hopeless romanticists, like you)
