Multi-Layered Smile

I wanted to meet her again

Because she has such an amiable smile that
I just could not forget

So I met her and told her,
I really like her smile

She asked me the reason

...........I see smiles, or any other type of physical expression, as a representation of the life

that they've experienced
& that the emotions they've been going through

If it’s a kid’s smile, then
they smile, simply because they are happy

Simplest, purest type of a smile

Let’s call it a “Single-layered smile”

But
if one is not a kid anymore, then
he/she experiences many things, not just happiness

Their smile is a product of various, complicated events & things

A lot of sadness, pain & tears behind it

But they still smile to the world

Let’s call it a "Multi-layered smile"
