Reading a book and came across this line;

".....Our era is characterised by the fact that everyone is facing an Identity Crisis....."

They widen & broaden our very limited perspectives

They made us realise;

"My problems" are not "My" but "Our"

"Personal problems" are not "Personal" but "Structural"

"Current problems" is not "Current" but "Universal"

They made me realise;

I'm not alone

For me, sociology is the same as books

I studied sociology in a university in Tokyo

Sociology put me — my tiny self — within a wider & broader place

And made me realise;

"My difficulties" are not "My" but "Everyone’s"

"I am alone" is not "I am" but "Everyone is"
