Foreigners in Kyoto

One of the things I found nice in Kyoto is

Faces I pass on the street are diverse
Languages I hear on the street are diverse

This multicultural environment

It's kind of ironic, as people usually think Kyoto brings real authentic vibes & experiences of Japan

But this city looks far more diverse than Tokyo or Osaka, since Kyoto is much smaller and so foreigners are more visible than other cities

Also, since they're tourists or students, they don't have a certain "serious", "business" aura

Even in Monday morning, they walk around in the city centre, like zombie mindlessly

which is, I would say for now, not bad
