A coffee served by a nice cafe staff
We have a good impression about this cafe
It's strange
We had a good impression toward this specific individual person, not the entity or group this individual belongs to
But this is how we perceive the world
We always mix up one individual thing and the entire thing
We always mix up an individual and a group
We always mix up "a part" and "a whole"
And this is called "generalisation"
By default, a switch for generalisation is always on in my mind
Individual things has too much information and too many exceptions, so that it occupies a large space in our head
Remove individual-ness, cut off exceptions. eradicate fresh, lively, raw elements & remain only dead dried bones
We can't stop making an abstract image based on fresh individual reality through generalisation
