Overlooking the Ocean from the hill

This must be one of the few places

where I can still feel the same emotions as people from 1000 years ago, or even 3000 years ago

Through the time
the looks of cities, of inside houses, of the people have changed

I can see how it looked like only in old paintings

Yet
I can no longer feel the same,
even when I stand in the same location where painters sat & drew 1000 years ago

But
in this view of the Pacific Ocean

Not a single human-made object exists here

Only nature —

withered winter grasses
island
clouds
waves
horizon
sun
blue
white
and all the colours in between
