My book was published today in Japan

This "project" started more than 1 year ago

It was when I read an email
from the publishing company in Tokyo

It was July in 2023

It was just after I arrived in Kraków from Japan

Over 30 hours trip
Midnight
Foreign city
In the dark-light hotel room
Alone

I was reading the email

Since that night,
more than 1 year has passed

And today is the publishing day

And I'm in Kraków again

It feels
a story that had began here ended in the same place

It feels
"Closing the circle"
