Japanese, specifically young people, are
........in my humblest opinion........
6.8 times more fashionable than
average Europeans
However
I often get some awkward vibes
from these "fashionable" Japanese
Fashion is
a combination of one's outlook as well as inner state/emotions
Outside & Inside
And why does "seemingly" fashionable Japanese look awkward?
Because
they pay too much attention to their clothes
Besides,
Japanese wears clothes
in order to hide their body
Apparently
act of "hiding" makes them very self-conscious, insecure & nervous
Comparing to this,
Europeans always look very nonchalant
Even confidence can be felt
And this make sense
Because
they wear clothes
to show, to emphasise, NOT to hide
Therefore
when Japanese & European's fashion is mixed,
this strange thing happens
When an European person adapts to Japanese fashion,
it gives off some disharmony
They look "too confident" or "too careless"
for Japanese decorative........therefore, delicate fashion
And how about a Japanese person adapting to European' simplistic clothing?
They look poor
Very poor
Because
Japanese body is
too thin
too flat
too rhythmless
And this brings some my personal assumption, as below;
Japan has traditional clothes, like Kimono
For Japanese,
T-shirt or
trouser or
pants or
dress or
jeans or
boots or
sneaker or.........
.........all is fundamentally "foreign"
And probably
Japanese still don't get to used to these clothing yet
These items are all European origin
and it was made for Europeans' body
Thick, broad, "assertive" body
Probably
at its core,
European clothes are supposed to be used for showing, emphasising, exposing one's body
And if an average Japanese person wears it like Europeans,
then he/she just ends up in looking poor
Because
European clothing is not made for a thin, flat, monotonous body
Why is Japanese fashion decorative?
Probably because
―1
Japanese has a culture of using clothes for hiding one's body
They use......still using......European clothes in a wrong way, which is made for "exposing one's body"
―2
Japanese body lacks physical qualities for wearing European clothing
To offset,
to compensate,
to forget this,
they wear it in a decorative way
Modern clothes is a European origin
Europeans wear their own things in the right way
Consequently
they look very natural
And this produces a vibe of
nonchalance as well as confidence around them
But, not only this
There is one more, far more fundamental reason for their confidence,
which is..........(To be continued: Next)
