He looks more sincere towards art,
& towards his own life,
if he died at a young age

Particularly,
if he committed suicide

His suicide looks like
an undeniable proof of his sincerity

From this standpoint,
to my eyes,
an artist who lived long & died from old age seems somewhat "inferior"

As a human being,
his life must deserve 5 stars

But
as an artist,
it looks far behind the ones who died at a young age

or

who committed suicide,
in particular, at a young age
