Leaving Japan

Leaving Japan

It always feels "One chapter in my life comes to an end"

Once I leave, usually I don't come back very soon

Last year: 6 month away, which was shortest
Before Corona: I didn't come back at least for a year

No matter how many times I leave, "Go abroad" still feels something

I, and all Japanese, have to take an airplane to go abroad

It must feel different if I could go abroad by train, by bike, by foot

And probably that's why a sense of "one of the chapters in my life ended here & the new one will start soon " happens

Waiting for my flight in the Tokyo airport

It is exactly when one chapter closes & new one opens in front of my eyes
