I was thinking women use cosmetics only for getting attention

Cosmetics are only about facial beauty

But after I used cosmetics myself, I realised they use cosmetics not only for external/physical purposes but more for internal/mental things

I realised a desire for being physically beautiful is very similar to, or almost same as a desire for being mentally/physically healthy

And this desire for being healthy is what men also have and so, could understand
