If there is a good-looking woman
I can't stop myself looking at her

If there is a good-looking man
I can't stop myself looking at him

And wondering

"What is my internal motive to look at him?"

Simplest reasoning is

Women are "supposed to" be beautiful

And indeed
there are so many beautiful women here and there. Everywhere

So that
even if there is a beautiful woman(s)
it's "expected", and
nothing surprising

On the other hand
men are "not supposed to" be beautiful

So that
beautiful man
good-looking man

............or more precisely
"Aesthetically pleasant man"

is

rare

like a Pokémon

Who can stop oneself not looking at a rare Pokémon on the street?
